Interwoven 3-Thread Fleece 200 GSM — 165 cm
A smooth-faced circular knit at 200 GSM on a 165 cm width, built on a three-yarn structure: two yarns knit the face, a third is laid in behind them and caught at irregular intervals so it never shows. That is what random three-thread means in the trade, and it is why the cloth reads as a clean jersey from the outside while carrying 200 grams of body behind it.
100% polyester, piece dyed, so the shade runs even from the first metre of the roll to the last. Buyers come to this quality when a plain jersey feels thin for the price point but a brushed fleece is too warm, or too hairy to print on: school and team wear, hoodies and crewnecks, joggers, kidswear, and the heavier end of casual tops. The smooth face takes a screen print and a sublimation transfer without the mottling you get on napped cloth.

Three yarns, nothing on the face
The name describes the structure, not the loom: this is a weft knit off a circular machine, not a woven. Two yarns knit the ground, a third is laid in behind them and caught at intervals — irregularly rather than in a fixed tuck pattern, which is the “random” part. Because that third yarn is bound on the back, the face stays smooth: no float, no wale, no needle line.
What the extra yarn buys you is body, not texture. At 200 GSM the cloth is opaque in the lighter shades, holds a soft collar and a cuff, and hangs with a little weight instead of clinging. It is also why the hand is fuller than the weight suggests when you first pick it up.

Colour, quoted by number
Our stock card runs to 96 shades. Pick the numbers you are choosing between and we dye this base to them; if what you need is not on the card, send a Pantone reference or a physical swatch. Quote the number — No.032, not “the mid blue” — so nothing is misread between your buying office and our dye house. Ask for the card with your enquiry and we send it, together with a lab dip of your shortlisted shades on this base cloth. MOQ is 300 kg per shade.

What a kilo buys you
At 200 GSM on a 165 cm width one kilo gives about 3.0 running metres, so the 300 kg minimum is roughly 900 metres — around 700 T-shirt or sweat bodies at 1.3 m each. That is US$ 1.37 per running metre and US$ 0.83 per m². Compare the per-metre number rather than the per-kilo one: at this weight a kilo does not go far, and a 160 GSM knit at the same price per kilo is not the same cloth. Send us your marker and we will run the metres for your style.
Where it goes
School and team uniforms, hoodies and crewnecks, joggers, kidswear, workwear tops and the heavier end of casual wear. The 165 cm width cuts a body and a sleeve side by side with little waste, and 100% polyester holds a durable press and a sublimation print. It is not a stretch cloth: if you need recovery at the knee or the cuff, tell us and we quote a spandex version of the same structure separately.
Two things worth saying plainly. First the name: interwoven 3-thread describes three yarns in one knit structure — the cloth is a circular knit, not a woven, so your pattern room should grade it with knits. Second, the composition is 100% polyester with no elastane, and the yarn count is quoted on request rather than fixed here: if your spec sheet names a count, send it and we knit to it.
