TN Soccer Fabric 160 GSM — 170 cm
A close-gauge sports mesh with a small pick-shaped eyelet running in repeat, knitted at 160 GSM on a 170 cm width. The eyelet is fine enough that the cloth reads as a solid colour from across a pitch and as a texture at arm’s length — which is what makes it work for a team kit that is printed or sublimated rather than left plain.
The width is the part buyers notice at costing. At 170 cm you nest a jersey body and its sleeve in one length, and you cut shorts two-up, so the metres per garment come down against a narrow 150 cm mesh. This is the quality we quote for club and school kit, training wear and basketball uniforms, and it is dyed to any of the 96 shades on our card.

What the price per kilo hides
At 160 GSM on a 170 cm width one kilo gives about 3.7 running metres, so a 300 kg minimum is roughly 1,100 metres of cloth — about 900 jersey bodies at 1.2 m each. Put next to a narrower mesh, the wider roll is doing more of the saving than the kilo price is. Ask us for the figure per garment against your own marker and we will run it with you.

Two faces, one cloth
The face is the dyed side: dense, bright, and flat enough to take a screen print or a sublimation transfer without the artwork dropping into the holes. The reverse carries the same eyelet as a raised texture. On an unlined jersey that difference matters — the inside stays matte and does not cling the way a flat filament jersey does on a sweaty back.

96 colours, ordered by number
The shades below are dyed on this base cloth, so what you pick off the card is what arrives. Order by number: quote No.014 rather than “the mid blue” and there is nothing to misread between your buying office and our dye house. If a shade you need is not on the card, send a Pantone reference or a physical swatch and we come back with a lab dip before any bulk is dyed. MOQ is 300 kg per shade.

Where it goes
Football and soccer jerseys, shorts and skorts, training and warm-up tops, basketball uniforms, sports tees, and school PE kit. It also runs as a lining or a back panel inside a heavier outer layer, where the eyelet is doing ventilation rather than decoration.

Three things worth saying plainly. TN is our own article code, not an industry standard — if you need the same look from a second source, send us the cloth and we will match the eyelet and the weight rather than the name. Soccer and football are the same fabric here; the name only changes with the market you sell into. And this quality is 95% polyester / 5% nylon: if your spec sheet asks for a spandex content for stretch, tell us and we quote that construction separately — the two are not interchangeable on a fit.
Ask for the shade card and a price
Send the shade numbers you are choosing between, the quantity in kilos and the garment you are cutting. We reply within one working day with the price, what is on the dye lot, and a hanger swatch of the shades you shortlisted.
