Milk Silk Peached 230 GSM — 239 cm Wide
The heavy version of our peached milk silk: 230 GSM on a 239 cm open width. Where the 165 GSM qualities are built for nightwear and light tops, this one is built for garments that have to hold a shape and stay opaque — yoga and training tops, base layers, leggings, loungewear that is worn outside the house. One face is sanded, so it keeps the matte hand of a peached knit rather than the sheen of a plain jersey.
The number worth noticing is not the weight but the width. At 239 cm a single lay covers a full bodice front and back, a legging leg pair, or a bedsheet panel — no join down the middle and no seam to match a stripe or a print across. On a 160 cm article the same garment needs two pieces and a seam allowance; this one does not.

Cost per metre, not cost per kilo
Heavier and wider fabric always looks expensive by the kilo, so price it the way your cutting room does. One kilo of this article yields about 1.8 running metres at 230 GSM × 239 cm, where our 165 GSM qualities yield about 3.4. Twice the fabric per metre bought, half the metres per kilo — the comparison that matters is cost per square metre and how many panels come off one lay.

Why there is no shade card on this page
Our 96 stock shades are printed on the peached 160–170 GSM and brushed 240 GSM pages, and they belong to those yarn lots. This article is heavier and wider, so it is dyed to order: you name the shade, we send a lab dip on the actual base cloth, and bulk starts once you sign it off. Quoting from a card would only tell you what the shade looks like on a different fabric.
The photo above is shade No.003, an off-white that we keep in production because it is the shade most often asked for on base layers. If you are matching to a Pantone, send the reference with the enquiry — the dip is the answer, not a screen colour.
Where it goes
Yoga and training tops, leggings and shorts, base layers, thermal sets, loungewear, and light bedding. The spandex content is what makes the 239 cm width usable on a fitted garment: the fabric recovers across the wide panel instead of sagging at the centre, which is the problem with stretching a narrower knit to cover a wide lay.

Naming notes, because this family of fabrics is sold under overlapping names. 涤氨 in the mill’s own listing means polyester–spandex, which is what the composition line says: 95% polyester, 5% spandex. Single-brushed and single-peached are the same finish — one face sanded — and milk silk is a trade name for the hand-feel, not a fibre. If you want the same surface in a lighter article, the 160–170 GSM peached quality is the one to look at; for a raised pile rather than a sanded face, that is the 240 GSM brushed.
