Milk Silk Double-Brushed Fabric — 165 GSM, Dotted
The same milk-silk knit as our peached quality, but sanded on both faces and printed with a polka dot. Because both sides are peached there is no right side and no wrong side: the fabric falls the same whichever way it lands, which is what you want on a wrap top, a scarf or any garment with a fold-over edge where the reverse would otherwise show as flat and shiny.
The dots are printed, not flocked — they sit on the surface rather than standing up from it, so the hand stays smooth and nothing catches on lining or elastic. At 165 GSM on a 175 cm width it sits in loungewear and bedding weight rather than garment weight.

Why there is no shade card on this page
Our solid milk silk carries 96 stock shades, and that card is printed on the peached and brushed pages. It does not transfer to a dotted article, for two reasons that are worth knowing before you pick a colour:
The dot has to read against the base. A tonal print disappears — black on mid-navy reads brown under shop lighting, white on cream reads as dust. Several of the 96 shades are perfectly good solids that will not hold a dot at all.
The print has to hold on the base you choose. Fastness depends on the dye the base takes, so a shade that passes a wash test as a solid can fail once a pigment print is cured on top of it.
So send the base shade you want and we reply with three things: whether it can be printed, what the contrast will actually look like against the dot colour, and whether a strike-off is needed before bulk. If you want this construction without dots, the 160–170 GSM peached quality uses the full 96-shade card.
Where it goes
Nightwear and pyjama sets, bedding and pillowcases, childrenswear, light yoga and activewear tops, and the lining of anything that will be worn open. The 175 cm width is the practical detail here: it cuts a pillowcase or a pyjama leg without a join, which is where a narrower 160 cm article starts costing you fabric in the cutting room.
A naming note, since it confuses buyers: milk silk is a market name for the hand-feel, not a fibre — the content is polyester and spandex, as declared above. Double-brushed here means peached on both faces; it is not a raised fleece and has no pile. If you are looking for the pile, that is the 240 GSM brushed quality.
