Double-Sided Cationic Warm Fleece 320 GSM, 175 cm
A double-sided brushed fleece in 100% cationic-dyeable polyester, 320 GSM on a 175 cm width. Both faces are raised and brushed into a soft pile, so there is no wrong side — the cloth needs no lining. The mill markets the warmth under a “De-rong” (“德络”) name, but the fibre is cationic polyester — no acrylic, no wool. It is the heaviest cloth in the range: a hoodie cloth, a jacket cloth, a blanket cloth, a cosy outer layer.

| Knitting technics | A double-sided brushed fleece in cationic-dyeable polyester. Both faces are raised and brushed into a soft pile, so there is no smooth back and no wrong side. The cationic yarn takes a softer tone than regular polyester, which gives the cloth a gentle depth. |
| Composition | 100% cationic-dyeable polyester. The mill tags it “德络” (De-rong) for its warm, soft hand, but the fibre is polyester — there is no acrylic and no wool. We name it by what it is: a cationic polyester fleece. |
| Yarn | Cationic-dyeable polyester; counts are set at order. |

| Weight | 320 GSM / 9.4 oz/yd². The heaviest cloth in the range — a substantial, finished cosy cloth on its own. |
| Width | 175 cm / 69 inch. A wide fleece width, so the marker lays efficiently. |
| Colour | Stock shades quoted by number (No.001–No.096), or dyed to match a swatch you supply. The cationic yarn lets a two-tone or heather effect be struck on request — the cream quality is shown solid. |
| Hand | Soft and warm on both faces from the brushed pile; the cationic tone gives a gentle depth. A plush, heavy hand. |
| Stretch & recovery | Opens roughly 30–40% across the width from the knit; recovery is light-to-moderate. Fine for easy fits, not a compressive hold. |
| Shrinkage | Under 3% — heat-set synthetics. |
| Pilling | Grade 3–4. A brushed pile will surface-fuzz under hard abrasion; overlock the edges. |
| Fastness | Good — cationic dye is a touch more sensitive than disperse, so we set the fastness to a fleece programme rather than a hard-wash industrial one. |
| Making up | A ball-point or jersey needle, a slightly longer stitch so the pile does not trap; overlock the edges — a cut fleece edge will shed pills if left raw. Because both faces are plush, you can leave seams unlined and they still read finished. |
| Cutting | Lays and cuts like any fleece; a sharp blade, mark the grain off the wales. With no wrong side, layout is simpler — just watch the pile direction for an even sheen. |
| Pressing | Do not press the pile — steam it from the back or hang it. A hot shoe on either face flattens the plush and kills the hand. |
| Abrasion | Moderate; the pile is the wear surface and it surface-fuzzes before it holes. Fine for hoodies, jackets and blankets. |

| Price | US$ 18.35 / kg (300–999 kg) · US$ 16.27 / kg (1,000 kg+) |
| Yield | ≈ 1.8 running metres per kg at 320 GSM × 175 cm (≈ US$ 10.28 per running metre, ≈ US$ 5.87 per m²). At the 1,000 kg+ price that is ≈ US$ 9.11 per running metre, ≈ US$ 5.21 per m². |
| Lead time | Stock shades ship from the lot on hand; dyeing to match (including a two-tone) adds 7–10 days for the lab dip and your approval, plus bulk. |
| Packing | Roll-packed, about 20 kg per roll, poly bag inside a woven sack. |
| Sample | Hanger swatch and shade card free; a lab dip against your own cloth charged at cost and credited against the bulk order. |
| Documents | Invoice, packing list, B/L, certificate of origin; test reports on request. |
| Care | Machine wash cool to warm, mild detergent, tumble dry low or line dry; do not press the pile. Easy care. |
On the name: “De-rong” is a warmth descriptor
A note we make openly: the mill markets this as a “De-rong” (德络) warm fleece, and our poster prints that name. But the cloth is 100% cationic polyester — there is no acrylic and no wool in it. “De-rong” in the market is a warmth descriptor for a soft, lofty hand, not a fibre specification, so we name the cloth by what it is and by the warmth it delivers, and we will never tell a buyer it contains a fibre it does not.
The practical read for a buyer is simple: you get the soft, lofty, warm hand the name promises, at a polyester price and with polyester easy-care. If you specifically need an acrylic or a wool warm fibre, tell us and we will point you to the right cloth — this one is cationic poly.

Both sides are brushed
The defining thing about a double-sided fleece is that both faces are raised and brushed into a soft pile. There is no smooth back and no wrong side, which is why this cloth needs no lining — a hoodie, a jacket or a blanket can be finished with the seams showing and still read as plush on every surface.
At 320 GSM this is the heaviest, warmest option in the range: more loft than the 280 double-sided, and more than any single-sided cloth. For a cosy outer layer it is the efficient choice — you get the warmth without adding a separate lining layer.

100% cationic polyester
One hundred percent cationic polyester keeps the same value equation as the rest of the fleece range: cheap, colourfast, easy-care polyester, plus the cationic option of a softer two-tone. There is no acrylic or wool, so the care is the polyester one — wash it, tumble it, it keeps its colour and its shape.
The honest limit is the fleece one: a brushed pile surface-fuzzes under hard abrasion and it does not love a hot iron on the face. Both are manageable — overlock the edges, steam from the back — and for the warmth-per-dollar it is the right cloth.
Three things that go wrong on a double-sided cationic fleece. Name: it is 100% cationic polyester, not acrylic or wool — “德络” is the mill’s warmth descriptor. Pile: with no wrong side, watch the pile direction and overlock the edges. Two-tone: the heather is a cationic dye effect, available on request, not automatic on a solid shade.
Send a swatch or pick a shade
Tell us the garment, the shade and the quantity — or take a stock shade and we will send the shade card and a hanger swatch. For a two-tone cationic effect or a made-to-match cream, post or courier a swatch and we come back with a lab dip and a price at your volume.
The warm knits sit next to the Double-Sided Fleece 280 GSM for a slightly lighter no-lining cloth, and the Double-Sided Cationic Fleece 230 GSM for a mid warm weight. The rest of the range is on the fabrics page.
